External linkages relating to violence

The reason I am pointing there is a external element to the dangers of this movement. Three countries are looking at India.. One is China: The Chinese Communist party there is a nationalist party, which is committed to making China number one in the world.. Where does India stand in this. It depends on their perception of India.. One perception is that India is hundred percent tied to the western world.

If they believe this, it means that there is no point using the carrot. But otherwise, if we could be neutral etc. or stop short of that going to the West, there is a case of the Chinese to go soft on India. If they believe in the former case, a very powerful instrument that they will use is the Maoist insurgency. If the Maoist insurgency gets the oxygen of external support it is going a be a problem several time more lethal than it is today.
